I have been passionate about education since I began my teaching career in 2001. With a strong focus on mathematics, I have been dedicated to teaching this subject since 2006. Over the years, I have had the pleasure of teaching a diverse range of students and curricula, helping each one to achieve their full potential.
I have taught Edexcel IGCSE & GCSE Mathematics and GCSE Statistics, Edexcel A-level Mathematics and Further Mathematics, Cambridge IGCSEs in both International Mathematics and Additional Mathematics, IB AASL, IB AAHL, IB AISL, MYP1, and Common Entrance Mathematics. My experience is extensive and varied, having worked as an Edexcel examiner and held positions as Head of Maths three times and Head of Year.
My teaching career has spanned both the state and private sectors in the UK, but most of my time has been spent in international schools in Thailand, Vietnam, and Taiwan. In an effort to provide additional support to my students, I started my own simplistic YouTube channel, focusing particularly on helping students use their TI-Nspire CX II Graphic Display Calculators.
Recently, I have returned to the UK to reconnect with family and friends and to create a more flexible schedule by being self-employed. I am excited to bring my wealth of experience and passion for mathematics to my online tutoring service, helping students achieve their best from the comfort of their homes.
I was educated in the UK at Reeds School, Cobham and then completed a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics and Philosophy at the University of York followed by a PGCE in Secondary Mathematics at the University of Bath. I now live in Winchester in the UK.
